If a high-torque M18 wrench "won't do it", you should probably be looking into 3/4" class impacts vs a 5-10٪ better 1/2" tool, regardless of manufacturer;)

this high tq tool is a overkill for most home owners. If not in right applications, it can break the bolt/shaft itself easily and give more trouble for you. M12 or M18 mid tq would be better

I think you meant to say "impact" instead of "torque". I totally agree, either it works or it doesn't. Someone mentioned if a bolt is torqued properly.... When you torque a bolt with thread...

Nobody would put anywhere near 100ftlb to a 14 mm bolt.

This is incorrect info.I use mine with the 3.0 CP bat and it performs the same, it just doesn't last long as the 5.

i have this. if you don't know you need 1400 ft/lbs of NUT BUSTING torque, it's likely too big/powerful for most people. i do a lot of stuff with cars and it gets good use but there is so much I...

You buy this make sure you have a high amp battery in good condition or it's output is severely limited. I just bought it and with a standard 3.0 battery pack it is no stronger than the m12 fuel...

i think you got a bad gun (or you are thinking of a different model #)....you dont need the high amp battery for this gun. ive dropped subframes, zapped rusted axle nuts etc with this gun its pretty...

Never used this one. I have a ryobi 1/2 and so far im amazed at the power. I took off 1 1/4tractor lugs that were rusted in for years like nothing. These cordless impacts today are the...

Check the torque test channel, they showed that battery size has basically no effect for impact wrenches.

I agree with this. The 2767 is very powerful even with a small battery. I've had this impact for a couple of years now and it is the strongest 1/2 impact around. I know the Ridgid is rated at 100ft...

I just gave this impact as a gift to someone earlier this year. Had it for a year, and I've used it less than 8 times. I've got the Fuel brushless mid torque and the stubby M12. They get to see...

So true, when taking off a really seized lug nut one time, it twisted the post clean in half instead of taking the nut off! Luckily that's an easy fix, but there are a lot of locations where that...

I changed the transmission in my truck with this thing. Not a single bolt it couldn't break. I own the 8Ah battery if that helps.

Exactly. This gun will cost you more in the long run if not careful. If the nut doesn’t give, it’s breaking something connected to it

if all you are doing is lug nuts and smaller bolts, then yeah, youll be fine. if youre doing rusted on axle nuts, or need it to work no matter what... 250ft lbs is going to be pretty borderline. ...

Do you need a concealed permit to have this assault wrench?
Post #146818244 added 04-23-2021 6:36 AM by momostallion in Deal Talk
agree. there are 3 settings for torque, maybe it's set at 1 (slowest) instead of using the reverse setting.

Well unfortunately, Ridgid discontinued that impact wrench and will come out with a new one that is only 1300 ft/lbs. I bought this 1/2" Milwaukee 2767-20 with 1400 ft/lbs of torque because it was...

30 is 2.1% of 1400. Most people will say that 2% more torque is negligible lol.
Post #146824115 added 04-23-2021 11:03 AM by slylockfox in Deal Talk
You used the rated torque, not the actual torque they calculated in the test. And the point of my comment is that torque wrenches are an "all-or-nothing" tool. It either breaks the bolt or it...

Are you sure that balancer is torqued to 130 ft-lbs? A lot of people put these things back on with an impact and over-torque the bolt, despite most service manuals saying not to do this. Plus, with...

Bid drawback here is that Amazon is NOT an authorized dealer which means that warranty might not be honored, so in case this tool will get regular use consider that factor.

Not sold by Amazon.. but allegedly milwaukee will honor 5 year warranty from date of manufacture printed on the tool regardless.

Milwaukee goes by the date code on the gun in the event that there is no receipt, so even if they didn't honor this particular vendor, you could always just say that you don't have the receipt.

The battery makes a little bit of a difference. The High Output batteries net an additional 20-30 ft-lbs of torque. That might be negligible to some people, but that extra 20-30 ft-lbs can be all...

I'd argue the lower is better, charging your battery up for a few minutes will get a larger increase, and smaller batteries charge faster.
