I agree that the RBG is just for coolness, but these can take you much less space on the physical motherboard than having a tower cooler. Each have thier own pitfalls.

Unless you are going for the coolness factor a block cooler is better. Usually better temps, easier to use, not as bad when they bork, and most importantly cheaper. Check of pc part picker....
