It's actually more complicated than that. They go by the date when the coupon or gift card was added to the account. So if you add a gift card first, it won't let you use the coupon till you use...

Bought 1, no issues redeeming. Was also able to use my amazon gift card balance to purchase. Have previously had no issues with combining the Instacart gc with Instacart coupons as well.

fyi, if someone doesnt need a single $100 gc, they can add 4*25 gc to cart and the coupon still works. This is good if you want to gift one or two gc or want to apply GC to hus/ wife accounts etc
