my $799 base model 3080 will run modern AAA titles at 4K 144hz thanks for "upscaling tech" DLSS. I'm running 4k 120fps on the latest Call of duty. going down to 60fps feels very painful once you game...

Do you think ONLY an rtx3090 can do 4k 144fps? If you can tweak settings enough, and if a game has DLSS capabilities, maybe even an rtx3070 can do 4k 144fps. I

The Rtx 3080 should be able to play 4k and maybe over 120fps depending on graphics settings. There's probably a 5% difference between the two... DLSS can play a factor as well.

You have a point. For pc gaming, the CX should be ok, but long term office work, maybe not so much.

43 inch is far from the standard pc monitor I would say. There is definitely a gap in the market as far as 32 inch gaming monitors that should be filled soon. It's just that for a 43 inch monitor...

If you want to risk burn in, something to consider if you do a lot of office work during the day. There are some other nagging issues you can read about using an OLED tv as a monitor.

Well here you go everyone that complained about the sub $500 4K monitors not being "gamer" enough. 144hz 4k... like any GPU short of a $2k 3090 can actually drive that. $1k is the new gaming...

some people don't like the inherent ghosting/black smearing that comes with va panels. but some VA panels aren't bad at all. i imagine this in an ips panel would probably cost nearly double...
