VA monitors have better contrast ratio than any IPS monitors. This means the black color looks more like black and not like dark gray. It also makes other colors stand out more if monitor is properly...

13 year old monitor crapped out this morning. Any thoughts on the newer 32GN650-B (HDR / 165hz / $339) version vs the older 32GK650F-B (144 hz / $297)?

Bought 5 of these for an office project. Great for the price but every monitor has at least 2 dead pixels. B-rate panel I would guess.

Generally, people say IPS is a better panel. To me, the largest advantage of IPS is that it performs way better given the high fresh rate.

Bought this a week ago, so far very good, just make sure you are sitting back 2.5ft+ or you will get dimming/fadding around the edges of the screen.

I much prefer IPS over VA for productivity in a typical office lighting. Better text quality, better colors.

I would go with the 1440p, I have had to use a 32in at 1080p and it's not very pleasing to the eyes text blurry with pixel lines.
