Lid and bottom are aluminum, keyboard deck is hard plastic. This laptop is pretty heavy with good build quality. I onwed it for a month now, (3060 version)

Wouldn't the G15 be closer to the equivalent to this? Weighs a good chunk less and has half the SSD though I don't know how components compare (it does have a stronger processor I believe R9-5900HS)...

Pretty good, its a solid laptop which unfortunately comes with no so good RAM which is actually so bad that it makes it perform worse than other 3070 laptops (even lower powered ones).
