In perspective the Asus Zephrurus costs 1850 but this has higher wattage.
Although, Lenovo did announce these at a much lower price point and kinda backtracked now.
Yeah man, I remember how everyone was raving about how much value you get out of this thing for the performance and given Lenovo's track record, we believed it. But according to some Lenovo rep on discord, they raised the prices at the last second to "compete with HP and ASUS" and in the reps words "this is not a Lenovo price"
Pretty good, its a solid laptop which unfortunately comes with no so good RAM which is actually so bad that it makes it perform worse than other 3070 laptops (even lower powered ones).

Plastic shell? For close to 2 grand that's asking alot
Plastic is not necessarily bad. If done correctly, it looks and feels nice while being lightweight.
I agree in theory but I think it's just my use case that's why I'm kind of worried. I'm traveling a lot and I feel putting this in a backpack Will not be ideal.
Maybe later in the year when I settle down the prices will too. But yes for the money the specs on this laptop are good. From what I've seen it's between this and the Asus zephyrus G14 for top class this year even though the G14 has a 3060 I love the ultra weight like profile and it's about 400 bucks less
Edit: this laptop has a ton more features than the G14. Including freesync. Mux switch. And much more

If portability is important, then nothing comes even remotely close to the G14. For pure performance, Legion 5 Pro with upgraded RAM. The 16:10 aspect ratio is great in person and a game changer if you do a lot of office work.

I 100% agree. Okay so basically decide if I'm going to grab the G14 sooner or wait till later on in the year and grab this as a pure desktop replacement.

Thanks for the feedback.
I've had the G14 2021 for 2 months now and it's pretty damn good.
