I don't think they meant that Ego gas mowers exist. I think it was a typo. I believe they meant to say "Ego has much higher build quality/materials."

I have used DTC for several years, they have great deals on Blemised Ryobi and sometimes overstocks, I guess. Not a problem ever, shipping times are long compared to Amazon or Home Depot, yet doable....

I have been using their reconditioned trimmer for 3 years now without any issue. For $90 the trimmer came with a 40v battery. In your case, what was the failed part. Was it the motor, battery?

This is only good for small yards and less dense grass. Mine stalls quite often in thick grass and it’s very annoying. I ended up getting a gas powered mower
