I wonder if these prices will keep drooping until the GPU shortage sorts it's self out. The 5600G and 5700G are better value proposition for many people than these CPUs + a $120 1030GT GPU for an...

Had this for 4 months at this point - yeah I bough it at the MSRP because the 5900X was unobtainium and 5600X felt like too much of a compromise. Yes I've seen all the reviews "but it runs hot". I...

Hey, however you wanna justify last-gen-console performance from a PC you go right ahead :lmao: I was just pointing out your claims don't hold up to actual measured results. The reason an old...

I drive a Crosstrek. Compared to a Corvette, Lambo etc I'm medicore. But I don't want or need a sportscar. I feel same way about GPUs. I don't have Nvidia's "HairWorks" but I don't want it anyway....

CPs biggest problems were on the last-gen consoles. I played on a Ryzen 3600 and an OCed 3090-In 4k/Ultra with ray tracing.... played every bit of content in the game, north of 120 hours. One...

flash storage is the only thing (that I know of) that could benefit from PCIE4 speeds. To your other question, PCIE2 (x16) is fine for GPUs right now, until you get to the high end stuff like a RTX...

I played Borderlands 3 (over 300 hours), Red Dead Redemtption 2 and Elder Scrolls Online with a Ryzen 5 2500 and RX 580. At 1080 I had no problems except that there were bugs in the games. That's...

Really depends on what you are doing-- and at what resolution. If you're doing 4k gaming on a card that can legit handle 4k, your CPU is virtually irrelevant for most games. You'd barely notice...

I watch Tech at "Tech Deals" on Youtube because he knows as much as other reviewers without shoveling hype. He said you could play 95% of games at 1080P with a Ryzen 2 2600 and Nvidia 1660 (which was...

Wow $1600 for a 3070. I’m really glad I convinced my son to buy a prebuilt with a 2070 super before gpu prices started going crazy. It was right before 3080s were coming out. I think he spent 1600 on...

If you're on a tight budget, or you plan to upgrade in 3 or 4 years, get the R5 5600x. If you've got more budget or plan to upgrade in 5+ years, get the R7 5800x.
