3050... More like entry level, not really mid ranged. Lower mid ranged would be a 3060. Upper mid ranged would be a 3070. High end is 3080 and 3090.

Depends on your work really. 8 GB is usable but I'd want at least 16 GB of RAM personally, even for just like MS Teams and office work. Possibly more if using VMs or other development related stuff....
