Yes but very few alder lake mobo's support ddr4. So far ddr4 is relegated to the "economy" chipsets.

Depends IMHO. If need performance- 5600x is a much better CPU, also has PCIE 4.0 support. When used with 4.0 SSD and video cards you will get probably 15- 20% better performance. But if don’t care...

If your mobo supports the CPU (or has new drivers for support) you should be good to go.
