Yes but very few alder lake mobo's support ddr4. So far ddr4 is relegated to the "economy" chipsets.

Depends IMHO. If need performance- 5600x is a much better CPU, also has PCIE 4.0 support. When used with 4.0 SSD and video cards you will get probably 15- 20% better performance. But if don’t care...

If your mobo supports the CPU (or has new drivers for support) you should be good to go. That's about the only compatibility issue you need to confirm.
