I agree, it's total crap. I don't always carry my cell phone everywhere, and some vets don't have a mobile data plan outside the home. Lowe's makes it easy - apply for military/veteran discount one...

Lowes doesn't stack the discount on most sale items. Home Depot has appeared to stack with most sale items I've tested.

I wouldn't say the discount works the same at Lowe's. At HD, you have to bring up their app on your cell phone to get the discount QR code to scan. Unnecessary steps many veterans may not easily do....

Just take a screenshot of the QR code on your phone and pull it from photo when you need to scan then you don’t need to use data.

Spouses can get military discount. It is a bit of a pain as you need to link veteran to spouse but HD lists the steps and it works.

Home Depot limits the products you can apply discount. For example, lumber is not included. I stick to Lowe's.

Thanks, was not aware. I prefer buying from HD instead of Lowes, but Lowes allowed for using a military discount far easier than HD. HD actually lost thousands in revenue from me alone due to this.
