From reading a Q&A on that, I believe your credit card with be credited up to the purchase amount (with taxes ?) and the excess credit will go to your Fi account

I did go through the order via fi.google.com. The credit card was added to my Google payment before, so I am wondering I was actually paying with Google Pay instead of credit card directly.

Why is that? S21 Ultra would be $600 before $75 credit, even with $355 refund for trade in, the charge on that one card would still be more than $150. Is it because the fact there is refund?

Yeah, doesn't make a lot of sense for a single line as even 1GB will be $30 + tax, which is crazy. Looks like the only plans that make sense are the 3 line unlimited ($75), and 4 line unlimited ($80).

If I'm not mistaken, you need to pay for 4 months of service. $300 for the phone. $80 for 4 months of service. Will be around $350 after $75 amex credit and tax (on phone and service)

No good way. I previously wrote a python script to do it automatically, but after they only allow one offer per account, and change the ui, it does not work any more.
