My garage is tall enough that this will sit above the garage door rails. If not, you can place it in the front of your garage so it sits over the car hood.

i think your stud has to be 16 inches apart, judging from the number 48. i was going to use it to hold kirkland toilet papers. was hesitating then oos :( should have bought it fasster.
