Well at least for me I don’t use gas, so that perk is useless too.

Wow, they canceled the Citi Price Rewind program in September of 2019, and now this. I wonder what's next? Worldwide Car Rental Insurance No Foreign Transaction Fees Doesn't look good.

Nothing to do with Costco. Extended warranties have been dying across the board for several years now.

That's sad. I have noticed most of their warranties are 2 years now, but just 2019 I purchased a TV with 5 years + 5 years from costco... and they still wanted to sell me another 3 year warranty.

Sadly Costco did not believe the higher fees Amex was charging was worth it to them. Their warranty protection covered me twice and their fraud division was top notch. Costco is making decisions that...

It would still be hard to beat the low gas price plus 4% cash back. I am using the Chase Amazon Visa for filling gas at Costco this quarter though due to the 10% cash back.

maybe they will go back to Amex. sad to see this perk go away.

There's always citi custom cash for gas. And right now 10% back with Amazon prime visa card (offered by chase) which makes this card more or less a Costco only card.

That sounds like a lot more thinking than the flat 2% from Citi Double Cash. No quarterly bonuses, no categories …just 1% when you spend and 1% when you pay back; a flat 2% discount on everything.
