Amazon had stopped doing price matching as well, even if it is their own price. With the prime membership going up, I think I'll take my business elsewhere.

I’ve bought Apple products in the past and UPS pickup was required so the I know policy is not new like this 15-day return window is.

I returned a $1000 Dell laptop and Amazon also required UPS pickup only and 30 days inspection time to refund So this must be a new Amazon policy, and not exclusive to Apple

Nope. Still buying. Apple is awesome, and you can still take it back to the Apple Store if needed. There is a one year warranty on all Apple products.
