yes, Duran Duran and Wham Wham were very popular in 1980s and 1990s, they quite different from GNR and were more of pop bands though.

Yeah, I agree, but Use Your Illusion grew on me over 30 years. I still hate Axl’s voice but you get used to it, like Geddy Lee or Robert Plant ;)
