Nvidia is much better at ray tracing but the AMD cards can do raytracing in some games just fine.
A 6800xt is pretty close to a 3060ti with ray tracing and would play Minecraft with raytracing...

3070 is overpriced new or used and 8GB is lacking. Better yet, the 6700XT can be had for $300 on eBay. You can also find 6600XTs for under $200. So pass on the older 5700XT.
