That's the only CD from Fidelity's list that is callable. The others listed (granted, at a lower interest rate) are not callable.

Only knock against Ally bank is their security isn't the best, e.g. MFA devices instead of SMS codes. I've also been with them for years, no issues.

I think ally is excellent but I would not buy a 9 month cd for 5%. You can get $vusxx now for higher than 5% and your funds wouldn’t be held up for 9 months & would be void from state taxes...
