Did you ever receive it? I did this as well, called it in, and was told to ignore the 7-10 business days credit, it was more like 1 or 2 billing cycle. Let me know.

they are not doing anything. just go to sams club cancel and get refund, you can ask for cash refund. sign up again using another email with amex offer or something else. Chase offer is not reliable...
