already switched away from t mobile the other month. they’re migrating away from low cost provider now that they have a big customer base and know people won’t switch bc of how annoying it is
Just opt out. Didn’t get $25 credit😥 but rep assured me that my plan won’t be touched.

You would lose it on Go5G - confirmed by a rep on the phone today. Plus ONE already has autopay discount so it still costs more to move plans. 100GB premium data cap seems like no big deal, but it's...

Probably so they can continue to fund garbage ad campaigns with those farking losers Zach Braff and Donald Faison, not to mention John Travolta and Patrick Mahomes
Looks like magenta first responder isn’t affected
When the goal is to make more money, but they plan to piss people off, credit accounts AND waste a metric f*ckton of payroll hours. Corporate logic.

Well, that's a bummer. Most of my family is on T-Mobile with zero issues, period. My FIL drives back east a couple times a year and his streaming music works the entire time. The S23 was a...

Update: Second rep said to successfully opt me out but refused to give credit of 10 bucks for two lines which I eventually got after showing some fight but seriously guys don’t trust T-Mobile reps...
I did the same though the rep gave me some excuse about why I couldn't getting the credit -- i dont really care I just want my existing plan. I plan to re-confirm it after Oct 17.

This is horrible. I'll admit, I'm kind of surprised T-Mobile would stoop this low. I'm currently paying $115/month (including taxes/fees) for: * 3 Voice Lines (Unlimited Data) * 2 Data Lines (5GB...
Just got a call after my online chat requesting not to be migrated. T-mobile confirmed my account would not migrate and I would be given a one time credit for my trouble. I really dont get why...

So I currently have simple choice with 7 lines for $140 before tax (3 promo lines). All the Go plans are twice the price. Should I opt out or switch to Essentials?

They will be dragged into court by all of us who opted out of arbitration. I can see the sharks circling to sign us up for class action. Remember that T-Mobile told us over and over that our plans...
I don’t care what you call the plan, but if my price goes up or I lose features, I’m opting out.

Why are they changing Simple Choice to either Magenta or Essentials Select, and changing Magenta or One to Go5G? Does this make sense to change some plans to Magenta when they are changing Magenta...

Weird...why it's just on local news here today about the force migration
It'll be interesting to see if people, who called and were told "yup, you're opted out", still get an email and/or text on the 17th.
I talked to a customer care rep and it was a little confusing. I have the One Plan and there was an add on for One Plus plan added to my account. So I am not 100% sure if I have One or One Plus...

I am thinking the same. I have SC NA 6 lines and 1 watch. Watch and 2 lines are free so $180 to migrate to Magenta, where I get Netflix. So really about $10 more/months to get rid of future increases...
