It’s for an angle grinder… strips paint… basically makes any metal surface new. Can also clean mortar off of bricks and other masonry applications. It’s less abrasive than a wire wheel.

I'd recommend full body protection, goggles, face shield, sleeves, gloves, etc. Bits of metal breaking off at 10000 rpm is not a great time.
