this is an awesome deal!

If you want to 3 monitors all at high resolution and refresh rate. It isn't really a concern for most gaming use cases because this card wouldn't be capable of delivering high frame rates to 3x...

I run a RX7900XTX off a V850 SFX PSU. I’ve had no power problems. A quality 850w is going to be fine.

really good deal.

I got rid of my Evga 3080 12gig Ultra for a 7900xtx (Sapphire Nitro+) , and could not be happier .. I run 3 ultrawides at 7680x1440 and first thing , I was alsways running above the 12gig memory...

The card has: DisplayPort 2.1: 2x DisplayPort 1.4: 1x HDMI™ 2.1: 1x So you should be more than fine for your use case. Dalto's point is an edge case for those who need that 3rd DP port.

Good card but with 3 monitors (probably my fault to some extent) 1 being a gsync Alienware and 2 freesync different monitors, I have some small lags when watching content in full screen and moving...

Seems like the offer is dead?

That's a great deal, but for me, AMD cards were always problematic. Not saying it will be for everyone, but for me personally, Nvidia is simply more consistent and reliable, so I'm sticking with team...

Ordered this. Amazing deal, don’t think we’ll see this cheaper for a while even when the supers come out. Something to keep in mind, this is a big GPU

for sim rigs you typically employ 3 identical screens (left, right and center) with a notion all displays will perform equally (resolution, latency, refresh etc) otherwise the ux and immersion drops...

Glad I was able to get one. I’m building a new system right now. Got the Sapphire Pulse 7900 XTX for $960 just yesterday from Microcenter (priced matched to Amazon). I started building the system...

As long as its a quality psu , you should be ok (1000watt would be better) , BUT I use a 850 watt Evga SuperNova G3 for the past almost 2yrs with my 5900x (oc'd) and the last year with my 5900x using...

This is a really good deal if you're looking for a high end gpu for high refresh rate 4k gaming and raytracing isn't your top priority. The best price ever previously was $830, and at $800 this blows...

One more minor thing to be aware of is that one of this cards three DP ports is only DP 1.4. Probably not an issue for most people but something to be aware of.

I was about to write the same thing. This is probably the best avenue for an upgrade to a 3080 if you want one right now and don’t want to spend 4090 prices. It would be a modest upgrade, but...
Post #168516118 added 01-04-2024 5:16 AM by dalto in Deal Talk
It is definitely faster but I am not sure if it is worth it. Probably depends what games you play and what resolutions/quality settings. You lose DLSS and gain increased rasteriization...

Very hot deal. Best I remember prior was that Zip Pay almost 6 months ago https://slickdeals.net/share/ipad_app/t/16775780 The real question is what will the pricing be for the new Super cards?...

You can go for a straight undervolt without increasing the board power limits. I think that's free performance that shouldn't increase heat/noise/power draw. Having said that, I played around...

Crazy to think this goes toe to toe with a rtx4090 in most games if you live without ray tracing. Id snatch this up in a heartbeat if I wasn't a sucker for Nvidia.

Yeah that is fine, I have a superflower 850w and it works fine. Though make sure it's at least a gold rated PSU

Damn, this is tempting. I have a 6800xt and play at 1440p ultrawide. The extra horse power and better RT performance would be nice.

I guess if the 4070 ti super is going to compel xtx to drop it will change things up even more The whole raster vs Rt thing again

Looks like it was a nice deal with a free game even! Now I don't have to think about it as the sale is dead.
Post #168515563 added 01-04-2024 4:04 AM by uberninjah in Deal Talk
Comes with a free game too. Not sure if this is a result of 4070 ti super coming out this month.

Now this is where high end GPUs should be priced. Got this card almost a year ago for about $1100 and have been very happy with 4k performance. Almost tempted to buy another for the second PC at this...
Post #168515887 added 01-04-2024 4:49 AM by dalto in Deal Talk
I don't think so. Demand for these has been high due to the restrictions with China on the 4090 which has driven the prices up. It seems more likely that either demand is falling leading to price...
