Played the whole thing on my PS5 through PS+ Extra with my girlfriend online with no issues and the game ran perfectly... On the switch I can imagine it was rougher.

Overcooked! 2 is also on Gamepass, can crossplay with PC only with that version but you have to launch PC version in Cloud Streaming mode

That sounds like a problem with your connection, not the game itself.
Are you playing on Switch with cross play enabled?
If so, make sure your MTU is set to 1500. The Switch defaults to 1472,...

The engine in AYCE is a major improvement over the first two games, especially on the Switch.
None of them are perfect, but to say AYCE is worse is just categorically false.

All you can eat has lagging issues still. Played it last month.
I would still recommend getting 2 and 1 separate and not Al l you can eat.

Decent if you already own 1 and all of its DLC, otherwise I'd wait and buy the "All You Can Eat Edition" with both 1 and 2 and all DLC when it goes on sale for $20 or less. Was $16 in Nov.

Awesome game to play with wife, in coop mode. I am not able to help much with cooking at home, but I rock at cooking in this game. This game also calms my wife who questions my purchase of xbox x.
