There's no difference at all for transfering to partners.
The only difference is if you instead use the points to book travel in the Chase travel portal--- there CSP gets 1.25c a point and CSR...

You don't already rotate the other Chase United cards? Even if you're not a United flyer, United points easily access Star Alliance partners.
