This should work on the download version too. Click on the drop down menu to doing taxes yourself and then the desktop software link. You can actually get the desktop version even cheaper by clicking...

I plan to purchase on Saturday and can confirm 100% but I don't see why not. Amex should trigger as a statement credit as long as you spend $50.
