Interesting. One thing I don't get though is that with billions spent on consumer data gathering and analysis software, I'm still getting mostly ads for prescription drugs I don't need, car repair...

if you're going to get a new stick...amazon typically offers trade-in credit, so you should be able to get the price down a bit more, too, while also getting some e-waste off your hands

Yes, all newer TVs you find will be 4K.
I have no idea if you should expect to find Fire 4K built-in, I imagine it depends on the brand of TV.
Regardless, I would avoid using the built-in TV...
