No. Costco will refund instacart orders onto any credit card of your choosing. There's no way for Costco to refund back to instacart and instacart back to you.

This is not true. I have modified my order plenty of times and it only bills me once - whatever the new total is. Haven’t done cashback ever so I can’t say anything about that.
