I'm getting the same since yesterday. Tons of emails for things that don't match any of the categories specified in my alerts. Seems like the alerts are only checking keywords now and no longer...

I got the same 2 alerts for the baby swing and Sound of Music. Per my notifications they matched a Deal Alert called "Any thread - rating alert" even though I have no such alert and never had.
