Aside from gpu and psu, everything else has low specs. It's a decent price for a prebuilt if you only consider the cost of the components, which is a bad way of looking at it. it's the equivalent of...

How is this horrible for specs when a 5080 is $1k at the cheapest if you can even get it? The CPU and GPU make up $1.3k at their cheapest. Add in another $500 and you get 1000W platinum power, liquid...

How did you arrive at $1300 value? 5080 alone is $1k..
I'm going to buy this just so I can emulate Switch and really show Nintendo a thing or two!

Yeah MSRP, good luck getting one at that price lol. These people just parrot mostly nonsense in all these threads. This is a great gaming PC for the price.

This looks pretty darn good overall, considering that RTX 5080's are selling pretty far above MSRP, just like the beginning of last generation. The only thing that I'd want to check is I'm not sure...

Did you get the aio? Debating if this needs aio since the cpu runs cooler and is supposedly more efficient.

Are you talking the Omen 35L with 5080? If so it has an Ultra 5 225F and 512 SSD, so worse than this.

Yeah I saw the 64gb but it was lower speed memory. I didn't really do in depth comparison on how speed vs capacity would really affect the work I do. I don't think it'll be too bad to upgrade myself...

Agreed on the desktop. Sorry to hear you're having issues with that Cashback. Mine was recently paid out, a little over $300. Other than having to wait almost exactly 2 months, I had no issues...

Every comparison I have seen showing any significant difference is always shown at 1080p where it is biggest. The gap closes significantly/entirely at 1440p/4k in the vast majority of games, even CPU...

I'm not absolutely positive, but given that my RTX 4080 has display port and HDMI outputs, I'd think this current generation of RTX 5080's would also have those interfaces.

Exactly this, Youtubers just spam 1080p reviews because the wider number differences bring in more views...and X3D droolers swear up and down how much better it is for gaming, and at 1080p it is, but...

You cannot build a 9800x3d and 5080 computer for $2000. Doesn’t exist. 5080 at msrp is not a thing. Additionally it would be $2000 to build a 9800x3d and 9070xt and the 9070xt isn’t as good as a 5080.
