Nope I have both and they are the same. Some items you don't want light getting through (paintings, photos, etc) which is why you'd want something opaque. I am just using these for moving so prefer...

These are pretty tough, I had no issue with these, but when ordering those clear smaller ones, they'd almost always be missing one of the latches that keeps it closed. I have 2 of these in the back...

I haven't had problems rolling mine through grass, rocks, dirt. Overall weight will impact some terrain, but still much better than carrying totes around.

Do they roll fairly well on the dirt/rocks? Any issues that you have run into? Currently using the black totes with yellow lids but those get a bit heavy.
