Interesting variation on a theme. I'm enjoying my Ryobi version that just that sits on top of a Home Depot bucket that you fill with water. Not as slick looking as this fan but works very well.

Pretty much. You're better off with a drum fan if you're in the garage/outside. The mist will soak everything instead of evaporating.
