After reading the OP's terms I don't see anywhere that it is 9% and Amazon Prime card never lets you know at Chase when an offer is activated so I guess we'll never know. So, now I don't know which...

No way to know, its probably going to be 9% if you have a prime membership and only 5% if you don't,
