If you value Applecare yes, otherwise they have dropped to $169/$179 pretty frequently in the last month. I would just use my CC extended warranty if I ever had issues.

I have Apple Care One and it keeps the APP3 as a separate Apple Care device, so you are not charged for an additional device. I do not advise adding it to Apple Care One unless you have extra slots...
