McDonalds in the Raleigh NC area sell bags of ice for $1. There's signs in the drive-thru advertising this. I go through the drive-thru, buy it, throw it in the cooler, and it's as simple as that.

I stopped getting ice in my drinks. You have to clean ice machines 1-2 weeks otherwise thick green mold gunk grows in it. I would assume bagged ice would be better but I don't have a clue.
