Wow, this works in NYC, I am shocked. It's $34.95 per adult, but still a great deal. Thanks!

Hell of a deal! We went to AMF a few months ago, played 3 games with 4 people and paid close to $60. Here it's around $4.75 per game and approx. $4 for shoe rental. This should pay for itself the...

I miss bowling. I grew up in a small town and EVERYONE was on a bowling league. It was the main social gathering, other than church. But, alas, the bowling alley is long gone and my old body...

Haven't read through all the posts, but the pricing appears to be regional. $29.95 in my area.

It says you can pick up your passes on and after April 20th. It says it starts May 18th. I suppose YMMV.

Not good for another 6 weeks. Ugggg. Still a great deal.

The passes are active on April 20th. That is only 17 days away. 2 1/2 weeks.

It seems my area is offering only the family plan for $40. Family plan includes up to 4 people to 3 games. It seems pretty good deal, but I am wondering if they really check it's family or I can...

do they check ID? I want to buy a pass for the wife. But when she is not available to play, can I use her pass?
Post #75234639 added 04-03-2015 8:17 AM by LeaninBack916 in Hot Deals
Yeah I see its just the individual passes sadly. I still may do it but it would have been much slicker to get the family pass as we wont utilize shoe rentals.

My whole family owns their own gears but this will pay itself after 2-3 visits. If you see yourself bowling more than 2 times during the summer, definitely a save.

Maybe some of us want to go bowl? Maybe someone's 8 year old can't drive You can pick up passes after April 20. But they're not valid until the May 18th.

For people worried about renting bowling shoes, you might as well buy your own. You can then either sell them at the end of the summer (ebay?), or keep them for the future. Cheaper in the long run...

Here's a slightly unrelated question that I have been afraid to ask at the bowling alley: I bought a groupon for 2 people to bowl for 2 hours for $17. For that money, were are "renting" a lane for...

I checked that out, but the closest bowling alley to us was 20+ miles away and was only for kids. We adults like to bowl too!
Post #75229087 added 04-02-2015 9:36 PM by croushore in Hot Deals
I have a feeling they will never have any lanes available when I go. Perhaps I will only be able to get in games off-peak hours. Otherwise I might just give it a shot.

Not sure how familiar you are with bowling, but a huge part of the hook is caused by the ball properties. So using one of those balls from the alley won't help. The ideal thing is to go to your...

The $39.95 family pass for 4 that some of the locations are offering, instead of the individual passes, do not include shoe rental like the other passes.
