I really like AMEX and their Customer Support. They take my side when their is a merchant dispute, unlike some of the other Credit Cards. Sorry one hand that they are no longer the Costco Card....

Can't see any reason they would need the physical card. Just knowing your account info should be sufficient since they should still have the records. Having a copy of the statement MAY be necessary.

If it's the standard amex warranty thing, it extends your warranty for another year or something if the item was entirely purchased on your amex.
