Learn to Chase primary coverage.
Also, some individual owners (not so much the companies doing this) on Turo are downright scumbags. I take my preferred car rental chain and elite status anyday.

It's because Turo is not like typical car rental company. You hit it on the head.
Many renters (not you of course) abuse the cars without a care, so there are charges for cleaning, removing smoke,...
