I was just in Italy where these are available. The capsules/pods are about half the price there that they are here. In Italy, they are competing with local coffee bars that will sell a shot for...

That Costco deal is for the original VertuoLine. The current deal is for the newer model Evoluo so this is a better deal if you want the newer model. People say the Evoluo makes hotter coffee.

This machine also has a "use your own" option (MyCap on Amazon), and in my experience it actually works much better than the Original Line fill-your-own. At the ~$70 price point at Target (and at...

Thanks for the great deal. My husband bought this set at Best Buy over Thankgiving for $190. I've been wanting one for my office and happily ordered this set. Can't beat it for $100! Yes, the pods...

You are correct On that note, I would highly recommend any of the Original Pod line machines such as the pixie or innisia. Pods are cheaper and you can use your own kit Also this unit has been...

can I program this to start in the morning when I wake up for work? I just use a cheap b&d for that now but like the steamed milk to help with the acidity

i mostly prefer the foils but the cap has its own uses esp when you want to have it done quick but good chance you might see some grinds in your cup esp if you dont use the filter

I would definitely use two espresso capsules rather than a coffee capsule. There is just way too much volume in a coffee capsule (8 oz) vs two espresso capsules (3 oz). The Vertuoline only has 4...

Thanks! Very helpful. From your experience, do you prefer to use the foils or the reusable cap + filters?

I work at Nespresso and they're this cheap because the red and grey models are getting replaced with new colors. Different capsule system, you'll need to different types of capsules.

Just keep in mind that each VertuoLine coffee capsules are higher than the original ones, at around $1 - $1.20 each. It's not that much cheaper than just getting a 12oz coffee at Starbucks ($1.60 by...

I'd guess they make most of their money selling pods (I don't have facts), so selling at below cost is probably well worth it in the long run. That said, I have one and love it. Had an older...

This might be a silly question, but what is the difference between the Vertuoline coffee pods and espresso pods, other than the amount of coffee grounds they hold? You seem to be suggesting that the...
