FYI, you can game in 1080p and use the 4k screen for various other uses. Nothing forces you to play at 4k resolution.

The panel is 4K and not 1080p is why. Also I have the 860M OC'd which is better than a stock 960M, and getting 90FPS around med/low makes me believe 4K won't do much better.

I agree. also this is much more work friendly than the new version with red vents etc. 960 will perform well at 1080.

you should be fine, probably more for external hook up to a monitor or TV would be were the most significant use of the 4K would be.

Displays are odd in the fact that they don't actually care that 4px in 2160p = 1px in 1080p, they'll still interpolate. I can't speak for this panel, but not that many panels can pull off decent...
