50" Emerson LC501EM3 1080p LCD HDTV $298.00

Be aware, Emerson TVs have really bad picture quality. We have a 32" Emerson that was $200 last year during Black Friday... we don't even use it anymore, it's that bad.

I'd counter that by saying that I have an Emerson 32" from Black Friday from years ago...

Standard definition does look like crap.
HD looks pretty damn good for 720p.

Best of all, the damn thing still works three years and multiple cross-country moves later.

I bought a 40" Emerson from Walmart for $350 last year. The picture quality is great. The only issue I have had is that sometimes when you hit any button on the remote, it will change the channel up/down or volume up/down instead of doing whatever button you pressed. It rarely happened when we first got the TV, and it happens even less now. I have another remote that does the same thing, so it's not the remote. It's semi-annoying but not a big deal at all for a cheap TV that is otherwise very good.

Will this be online? Or maybe order in-store pickup only?

My Walmart will have over 100 of the 40" Emerson's however there are only 20 of the 50" on order, I am still hopeful to get one of these.

ive read different things. some say it will be online and others say in store only. My other question is their free local pickup if they do have it online?

Not finding it online, and the link doesn't work. Anybody know if this is real?
