Costco Wholesale [costco.com] has the 3TB Seagate Backup Plus USB 3.0 External Desktop Hard Drive for $99.99 on Black Friday (Nov 22)
This is one of the best prices for a 3TB external hard drive. 3TB drives normally run for <a href="http://slickdeals.net/newsearch.php#firstonly=1&forumchoice%5B%5D=9&mode=all&q=seagate+3TB+external">around $120+</a>, so this is definitely a good deal.

This should be easier to score than at best buy.
I have used this drive on both Windows (NTFS) and Mac and it works great with both. I will point out that I didn't install any software at all - I formatted the drive as soon as I opened the box.
My only gripe is I'm not sure how useful the USB 3.0 connectivity is if Seagate has put a slow drive inside. Write speeds were a very slow 15-20MB/s which is the same speed I get if I plug the drive into a USB 2.0 port.
All in all, it is good for a 2TB drive but don't buy it expecting a huge performance boost.
