Honestly though, do you people ever stop and wonder "Why does this company constantly put their speakers on sale?" If they go on sale so much, it suggests they're well aware they're not worth their MSRP. Just because someone who's a senior deal editor no less posts something on this site, doesn't make it a good deal. Especially considering other SD staff are responsible for putting this stuff on the FP. Wonder how different this site would look if it was 100% user votes and no "staff"? Can't have that though, how else can you partner with companies so they can promote their products through sales?

Would I still recommend these? Yes, if you want a nice pair of bookshelf speakers. If you wanted tower speakers, I'd spend the money elsewhere and get something like RBH R55Ti [rbhsound.com] for $800/pair to get more value.
I'm a long time owner of an SRT system looking for better music performance and bass management. SRT subs can't be moved independently of the high frequency modules.
A pair is now $750, whereas before (multiple times) they were $650.
I'll wait......

If you don't think it's a deal then just down vote it, that's how it works. No need to come in and bash the OP. I don't think there is anything wrong for the site to partner with companies and promote, the site needs to make money to exist; if you don't like how they operate then just move on to a different site.

No idea about SRT. I have 705s, they are excellent speakers esp. at this price.
