cost of home made drink $1.50
breakeven point -> $2200/(5-1.50) = 628 ....
You could argue that your homemade is better than SB, but could you do that for every other mom&pop gourmet coffee store
Full disclosure: I haven't used this machine, but have extensively used Saeco Super Automatics at home, and am glad I finally took the plunge and bought a La Spaziele Mini Vivaldi. No comparison.

umm, yours is Refurbished. Costco comes new and with a 2 year warranty, 4 year warranty if you use your Costco visa card. Can't compare the two.
