JetBlue Airways have round trip airfares travelling to and from Burbank CA (BUR) and New York (JFK) for $198, nonstop. These are Jetblue's basic economy fares, a restricted-type fare.

$200 out of Burbank?!??!!?!! Wow! Horrible weather going into NY but damn if I didn't have kids...

For those curious about Burbank-Hollywood Airport - this is definitely the one you want to be flying into if you're going to Universal Studios for the family. Way closer to the Universal Studios than LAX and has minimal traffic or waiting in security or check-in lines. So-Cal native here and I always fly in/out of BUR over LAX for work or personal, even with the price differential. LAX is an absolute mess and it's only getting worse. And at this price, absolutely a bargain!

Huh Ive been to countless hotels in California and New York but never was charged a per person fee. And I'll check in with my family of 4 right at the desk.

Great price, but I just thought about that freezing cold weather in NY Jan-Feb. I'm in LA now literally sitting outside at a cafe wearing a t-shirt reading this post. I'll wait until a spring deal comes my way.
