My about to be 4 yr old has a balance bike and is great on it, we want to try to get him into a proper 2 wheeler maybe by this summer, but he doesn't know how to peddle. So we're looking to get him a training wheel bike that we can take the pedals off and then he'll use as a 2 wheeler once he gets the hang of it. My concern is do training wheel bikes work as well for 2 wheels as a proper 2 wheeler not meant to work with training wheels? The last training bike I bought for my daughter was just crazy heavy and seemingly poor design don't want this to be that kind of bike
