Fact. I bought a magazine subscription and NEVER read it. Luckily, I have an office and just stick a couple on the magazine rack there. But unless you plan to do the same, think carefully whether you will EVER read these. I think I paged through ONCE when I got it, never touched it again. Nothing against the magazine, but we are all glued to our phones these days, our habits have changed. More than likely, you are not the same you that you were 15 years ago when you'd go to Barnes and Noble and page through magazines. You know what you want to read/search for, and you pull it up on your phone, tablet, or PC.

I really do wish I would pick up print more often (newspapers, magazine even, etc.,) But we just aren't the same anymore. For most of us, our brains have been rewired, even if we didn't want it to. It is what it is. Just saying, think carefully whether you'll actually pick these up and read them or toss em with the junk mail. Again, nothing to do with the magazines, those car pics and articles are still great, I am sure. We just don't have the same attention span anymore, unfortunately.

They should doing print version of these magazines. I think it's a waste of trees and natural resources. Each month, they put in one or two articles that are ok to read. The rest of the magazine is full of ads and craps.

Yeah, I'd like to see a digital subscription version like Motor Trend.

I'm paid way ahead on many magazines. FYI, Automobile Magazine just called it quits. TEN will no longer print most of its automotive magazines.

Still no digital? Complete deal breaker for me. Would be a quick $12 for them for nothing to ship (and something I'd realistically seldom read, but would pony up $12 to know it's there). Hard pass on mailed printed copies.

Then stay away from Car & Driver too. I am still incensed by this month's issue.

Any additional comments on to what incensed you? I don't think I read my latest car and driver, yet.

Wait, what?!?
When did Automobile stop?
I've been a subscriber from the very start, didn't hear anything about them going away.

As an older(73) motorhead and long time subscriber to both R&T and C&D, my opinion of automotive knowledge on this website is reinforced by the comments on this post.

You are correct, I used to love car mags, now I put my Motor Trend mags in the trash with other junk mail. I bought a few slick deal subscriptions years ago and I think I'm down to only one still coming.

I'd rather watch YouTube reviews from regular people

What happened this month?

Oil companies ripped apart public transportation systems all over the country so they could sell gas to fuel cars. So let's stop pretending cars are somehow apolitical. Soldiers have died so you can fill your gas tank.

It's called reality. Try it on for size sometime.
