how's the double clicking issue now? I remember many Logitech mice in the recent years would start double clicking in a year or two. in fact, I had to RMA mine twice within 3 years and the 3rd one started double clicking in the 3rd year

It's really hit or miss. I've had my G900 for 2 years without any issue.

The actual switches Logitech uses are still the same - Omron D2FC-F-7Ns - so the issue is likely to still happen. I have a dozen or so to replace them in my mice as they fail (Razer mice use the same switch).

I had my G903 replaced by Logitech as well and within 3 months it double clicked. I loved the G903 but I ended up going for Logitech G502 Lightspeed, only 2 months but no issues so far.

which version of G502 did you get? the lightspeed version equivalent to the G903 in this thread is asking the same price which seemed a bit ridiculous for lower graded G5xx version

I got the wireless G502 Lightspeed, no issues so far and Logitech gave me a promo code for my issues with the G903 to use so it ended up less than 99.99 which was the price of the G903 at the time. I would have wanted the G903 but 2/2 of the G903 gave me issues.. didn't want to have to deal with it a third time.

with less feature, I would expect G502 be cheaper than G903. pre-lightspeed versions reflected this, but lightspeed seemed to have jacked the price up. did you feel or see anything different between the two other than double clicking issue?

I haven't used the previous G502 but the G502 lightspeed version has all of the features that the G903 had with 3 extra buttons. What features do you think is lacking?

I wanted to see if there are significant differences between the two other than the naming. from your description, sound s like it's just 3 buttons difference with the lightspeed version

You can replace the switches yourself, with some effort.
