Hi SD team,

Can you help me make all links whether on FP or the browser extension only go to the deal discussion and not the actual product retailer site? It's esp. frustrating on the fp since I installed the latest browser ext. those link go to the retailer now when they used to only go to the deal discussion.

there's a toggle for this on the frontpage just above the Featured Deals section. Alternatively, you can also disable this option in the browser extension's options page

Yeah this is a terrible feature that should be defaulted to off. After spending 20 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong I finally uninstalled the extension and now I'm back to my regular SD comments. This is no matter if you click on the picture, the comment button, anything. Extensions shouldn't be impeding the overall experience of the website. Part of the allure of the comments section is to screen out the junk, otherwise I'd be on sites like dealnews where there is no community discussion. Hard pass.
