I ended up going with the floor mount version through buy buy baby since you get $100 in funds back there if you spend $300. The unit is a bit more expensive, but it gives a few more mounting options and the floor stand by itself is expensive.
I did too but I think that was an error. It was $100 off and $100 coupon discounted in the cart, and advertised at $199. I think it was only supposed to have one of those discounts but I could be wrong.
Was not a fan. Connectivity isn't so good. Went with a VTech
I have two of these now (original and pro) and connectivity is great in a variety of situations. We use them in our home and traveling extensively. Your connection issues were probable a result of your home setup.
Nice deal. Lucked out on the $99 Prime Day deal… I did have a couple connectivity issues but it's nothing a reset can't take care of. FYI it comes with an infant breathing band of up to 9 months or 12 months, don't remember exactly, so if you want to continue using as baby grows you'll have to purchase the band that goes up to 36 months separately.
This is a good deal for the camera. But FWIW, I have a love/hate relationship with this thing. I've had on and off issues with mine: connectivity issues; the video feed not loading when opening through Android notifications center (having to force close the app to get it working again); not receiving notifications; inconsistencies with the breathing monitoring. I've opened multiple support cases, but all I ever get is to reboot/reset the camera. "Usually" my issues clear up after I get an app and/or a firmware update. And I was able to fix my connectivity issue by turning off the airtime fairness feature on my router. Outside of this, it's great being able to monitor breathing, offers age related tips, and my wife loves the insight clips.

It's actually $213 on Buybuybaby when combined with the 25% discount from membership. Together with the 300-100 you get it at $113

I'm not stupid. I have a router 4 feet from this and it won't connect well. Perhaps it's the fact I live in townhouses, but no other devices have issues. Read the comments section, I'm not the only one.

I had the pro model. I don't think it matters. Ive checked with friends who also had them, and they said similar things.
Sorry, I meant as far as the VTech, which one did you get?
